The Cobra Rocket Sled is a 1988 Motorized Vehicle Pack from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero line. It is a compact Cobra vehicle that combines a small sled-like attack platform with a wind-up motorized mechanism.

The Rocket Sled was released in Series 7 / Wave 7 and is part of the unusual 1988 Motorized Vehicle Pack range. The vehicle was designed to function as a small ride-in vehicle and could be transformed into a backpack-style configuration.

• The Cobra Rocket Sled was one of the five 1988 Motorized Vehicle Packs, alongside the Cobra Gyrocopter, G.I. Joe ATV, G.I. Joe Tank Car and G.I. Joe Scuba Pack.

• These small vehicles are quite different from the regular G.I. Joe vehicles because of their motorized and wearable design.

• The Rocket Sled is surprisingly collectible today because relatively few examples appear compared with larger vehicles.

• A complete loose example has recently been offered in Europe for around €8, while sealed examples can command considerably more.

• Recent recorded sales for sealed examples range from roughly $35–73, with graded examples going much higher. The available sales sample is small, so the high prices should not be treated as a normal loose-market value.
